Booking Contract



This agreement is by and between Just Say Agency representing the following artist:			 (hereinafter referred to as “Artist”)
and:


 (hereinafter referred to as “Promoter”)

1.	The Promoter will engage Artist for the following Tour performance(s):

Duration of performance(s): Artist will perform for a 1 1/2 hour set unless otherwise specified. Neither the Artist’s routine nor performance are subject to the Promoter’s instruction. The Promoter is familiar with the Artist’s style and manner. The Artist is bound only by the terms of this contract. The Artist is responsible for arrangement and stage directions. Artist’s name cannot be used in any advertisements or promotions of the event until this signed agreement and the deposit has been received.
	
2.	The following remuneration by the Promoter has been agreed:

3.	The remuneration is payable as follows:
Deposit:		$	 DEPOSITS ARE DUE NOW AND MUST BE PAID IMMEDIATELY.

To be paid in US Dollars-CASH on the night of the appearance PRIOR to the Artists performance.

4.	Ancillary Costs (Hotel/Flights):
The promoter is responsible for the cost of accommodations including all meals in a double room of a 4 Star hotel for the Artist. The Promoter agrees to make the hotel reservations and notify the Artist or its Agent of the reservation and address and telephone number of the hotel at least 5 business days prior to the performance. The Artist hereby agrees to settle all outstanding telephone bills directly before checkout.	Applicable Night(s):	(date) (late checkout)

 Promoter agrees to bear the costs of travel to and from the venue as follows:

6.	In the event of cancellation of the performance for which Artist is responsible or for a reason originating with the artist or within her area of responsibility, the Artist is liable to the Promoter for the amount of the deposit only. In the event of cancellation of the performance for which the Promoter is responsible, the Promoter agrees to pay the Artist the remuneration set out in paragraph 2 of this contract.


7.	Should the Artist or a member of her group fall ill, notification must be provided within 2 business days of the occurring illness. In this event, the Artist will be released from her obligation to perform on that date, and a make-up date shall be decided upon. Such make-up date must be within 2 months from the time of the date listed in paragraph 1. Should the Artist fail to inform the Promoter within 2 business days of the occurring illness, the Artist will be liable to the Promoter for the amount of the deposit.

8.	Venue Security:
Promoter shall provide adequate security and crowd control measures during Artist’s performance. Any damage or loss to Artist’s equipment or belongings resulting from inadequate security of venue, will be promoter’s responsibility to reimburse artist for damages within 5 business days of date of event. 

9.	Reproduction of Performance:
Promoter acknowledges that Artist is fully independent and completely in control of the design and content of her performance. Promoter cannot reproduce the Artist’s performance by use of any type of audio recording equipment without the express written permission from the Agent and Artist.

10.	Additional Terms
Promoter must provide a sound check and ample set up time for Artist’s equipment. If contract is not signed, and the deposit not received within 5 business days, and returned via fax or by mail, the date will be cancelled.
