Just Say Agency Signs Mikie Smithers

Just Say Agency is pleased to announce the addition of
Mikie Smithers to the roster. Living up and
down the California Coasts, Mikie toured many clubs,
making him one of the most sought after up and coming
DJ's. Mikie
Smithers has accomplished in a few years what
many DJ's hope to accomplish in their whole careers.
Already known for his production skills, his DJ skills are
equally impressive. Mikie has toured throughout North
America and Europe, and is well known for his residency
on MTV's The Grind in Romania.
You know what time it is.......it's almost spring! That means the Winter Music Conference is here, and Just Say Agency will be representing this year. Jesse Saunders, Mikie Smithers, Wayne Williams, Steve Hurley, DJ Pierre, Paul Anthony and Stacy Kidd will be playing BIG events this year; Jesse Saunders at the exclusive Amsterdam/San Francisco SupperClub event Tuesday, 3/22 and "Taste of Chicago" with Steve Hurley, Wayne Wiliams and Stacy Kidd on Friday 3/25. Mikie SMithers at "Wet Grooves" on Thursday 3/24. Paul Anthony will poppin up everywhere as usual, and DJ Pierre on Wednesday at the Cardozo Hotel.
Kelly George is the newest addition to the Just Say Agency staff, coming on as Co-VP of Operations, and Agent. She currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio, where four years ago she made her break as one of the top female DJ’s in the area, spinning progressive trance and more recently moving into tribal house and breakbeats. As a former music student at Ohio State University in vocal music education, her background and knowledge of music greatly influences her performing, and has helped her land several residencies in Cincinnati, including Fuse and the former Club Venus. This young lady got her beginnings in promotions early with a natural knack for networking and leadership, leading her to head up weekly club nights in both Cincinnati and Columbus. She has mastered several battles and competitions, headlined some of the largest venues in Ohio, including Amnesia and Mekka of Columbus, and has landed bookings such as WEMF in 2003. She is extremely excited and honored to come on board with Just Say this year!

Born and bred as Shana Haunani Rivera in
Honolulu Hawaii, this island girl is jack of all trades! She was one
of the first female DJ's in Hawaii in 1996, spinning anything from underground hip hop to dancehall & house. Coast 2 Coast Productions was created in 1996
as well, serving the island of Oahu, Hawaii as a mobile
DJ company. In 1998 she became a DJ on the number
one Hip Hop and R&B station in Hawaii, "Hawaii's
Hottest Music Station, I-94."
Being out of the scene for a few years, and thanks to
MySpace, "Tha Rella" was born and began
DJ'ing as
an "on-air personality" at "Hawaii's Hip Hot Hits & R&B
Station: "Hot 93.9", formerly I-94.
We look forward to the expertise and experience that
Shana will bring to the Agency. Her PR skills make her
the perfect person to head up the Hawaiian Islands
territory.
We are now accepting DJ/Producers
and Artists
submissions that are in the production aspect of their
careers to be considered for our newRoster. It
is essential that each DJ has record releases in
order to get booked. Our affiliate label has a Major
Digital Distribution Deal and can
now release our Artists songs and promote their
releases. Come be a part of our Ever-Growing
Agency and affiliates, plus let us showcase your
talent to the world!
